HMP Global Protocols

Commitment to Your Health & Safety

Your health and safety are always a priority for us. Vaccinations have reduced the need for many of the COVID-19 protocols that were formerly in place: face masks, social distancing, and travel restrictions. In many cities and states, these rules have been fully lifted.

As HMP Global moves forward with a return to in-person events, we continue to closely monitor the guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with state and local governments to comply with current guidelines and ensure that we provide an environment that is as safe as possible for our participants and staff.

Health and Safety FAQs

What is NCAD East's mask policy?

NCAD East is excited to bring addiction treatment and behavioral health professionals together again. As we gather, we must do so wisely, remembering our responsibility to each other and to our patients. As the premier educational event for addiction treatment and behavioral health providers, our goal is to advance the industry and have everyone return home healthy and safe.

Consistent with the City of Baltimore, all meeting participants are required to wear masks indoors. Masks may be removed for eating and drinking. Faculty may remove their masks when delivering their presentations if they are 12’ from the first row of attendees.

Thank you for your partnership.

Will social distancing be implemented?

NCAD East has secured additional venue space to allow for attendees to spread out and reduce crowding. Please refrain from handshakes and embracing as an extra precaution and continue to follow all CDC guidelines. Consider using digital alternatives to share contact information. Ample hand sanitizer stations will be available; please wash your hands often, cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or elbow, and stay home if you are sick.

How will meeting rooms be set up?

Attendees can expect general classroom seating at distances to accommodate attendee comfort levels with increased cleaning protocols.

Will live streaming be available?

NCAD East is offering the Maximum Credit Package which includes on-demand access to sessions after the conference. Visit our Rates Page to learn more.
